The first of twelve unused Yanmar 6N18AL-DV generator sets with Alang Maritime was dispatched with seamless efficiency. 

The Yanmar 6N18AL-DV engine was dismantled and every major component was first inspected visually to check for long term storage damage or weather effects. That was followed by a technical inspection of all major engine components with a special emphasis on the crankshaft. Once all engine parts had passed inspection and NDTs, technical reports were prepared and sent to our client. After all the parts were found to be in satisfactory condition, they were coated with high quality anti-rust. The cylinder heads and cylinder liners were installed back into the engine block while the crankshaft, pistons and connecting rods were packed separately.
